Everyone should have a business or should start a business. There are a couple reasons and i will try to explain them to help you understand.

Ownership
By having a job you will never have ownership in whatever you do. If you have a job no matter how good you perform the company will take the credit. You can’t take what you do in a job and then sell it.
Freedom to make your own decisions
If you own your company you call the shots. You say when to come in or go, what to buy or sell who to deal with and so on…Making decisions is a factor that must be taken seriously because you are responsible and can’t blame anyone else for any failures.
Tax purposes
If you have a business you can write off business expenses such as mileage, stationary, travel and other expenses. Make sure that you contact your CPA accountant to explain in detail how and when this can be done.
