Some people would do almost anything to avoid rejection. They look at rejection as unnecessary pain which should be avoided at all costs. No matter what project or business you are trying to start, know that rejection is part of the process of growing and building a successful organization. There is a major difference between objection and rejection. An objection is not a rejection; it is simply a request for more information. Also a rejection is nothing more than a necessary step in the pursuit of success. I would like to share some ideas which can help you….so that you are not afraid of rejection.
Look at rejection as a learning process. Reflect on how you could have made a better presentation. You might find out that you were missing some key elements that if improved on could make a difference for the next sale. Remind yourself that you are a winner for having the courage to step out to make a sale.
Practice makes perfect and when you keep working on your craft you will soon become a pro. You must repeatably make connections to advance your business. In the process you will experience rejection. See the rejection as an opportunity to make yourself better. Without rejection you might never make new products or improve yourself!
Rejection acts as a reminder that you are still working on your goals. If you never get rejection it’s because you are not doing Anything. If you are serious and working on achieving your goals your will definitely get some rejection. Smile and know that’s part of the journey on your path to success
“I take rejection as someone blowing a bugle in my ear to wake me up and get going, rather than retreat.” Sylvester Stallone
All the best,
Flavian
