Most of the people stop growing once they reach a “mature age” when they think they are comfortable with the “way” the things are supposed to be. Simple example..one graduates from high school or college then they consider themselves educated. Now i won’t have to learn any more am done with education! This is a wrong or even dangerous way of thinking. Everything starts with a mindset and a well thought plan of how to grow and develop is what one needs.
How can one accomplish this task? One of the ways is by reading books and magazines on a particular area of interest. Diversification of what you read is also important. Let’s say you love real estate..reading a book by Robert Kiyosaki or Donald Trump will help you in real estate. But real estate like everything else comes in a package.. there is financing, contracts, tenant laws and much more that you need to know. To diversify you need to read inspiration books to help you when you get down because it’s just a matter of when and not if you will get down. Reading an inspiration book will help you overcome an obstacle or direct you on how to deal with your current situation.
You should carefully choose the people you hang out with. There is a saying that misery loves company. If the people that are close to you are negative they will make it their duty to make you miserable too! To stay positive choose positive friends! Also if you want to be successful then hang out with successful people. How do you do that? Going to seminars or events is one way you can do it.
Following proven systems will help your learning curve tremendously. In business there are systems that must be followed no matter which field you choose. I’m going to talk about one of them.. that is a Business Plan. If you don’t have a business plan you are not in business. That’s plain and simple. You don’t need to hire someone to write up a business plan for you. All you need is to..
1. Set your goals.
2. Set how much ” exact money” and date to get it.
3. Write a mission statement with your values, passion.
4. Action, Action, Action..
